Reception/Promotions/HR

  • I started in Reception and for 2 years worked Wednesday to Sunday closes. I progressed to promotions which involved all the on floor promos, eg car draws/Major draws, bingo and raffles, the took over the entertainment role
  • I then went into HR as the Coordinator as a result of the position being made redundant.
  • I then finished my HR diploma and worked with both staff and management.
  • Prior to my work at North Ryde RSL, I worked as an enrolled nurse from 1980 and when I decided to do a course in PR that's when I decided th the field I wished to work in.
  • I think my best skill is dealing with all sorts of people.
  • All the time still working and building many relationships in the entertainment industry.
