I have been working since I was 13 years old at the Hive Darlington, aiming to create memorable experiences for each customer I serve. Over the years, my skills have been well developed, becoming proficient in cash management and payment processing, while also honing an instinct for excellent customer service. In addition, I’ve participated in my local soccer club for several years, which has helped me develop strong teamwork skills. I was also a member of the school council last year but paused my involvement to pursue an ATAR pathway. Growing up as one of five brothers has also instilled in me a deep sense of patience and compassion, even when faced with challenging or frustrating situations.
For over three years now, I have greeted every customer who has walked through the door with a smile and a warm greeting. I strive to set a positive tone for their visit, ensuring they feel cared for from the very start. I’m skilled in making genuine connections with customers, engaging in polite and friendly chit-chat to create a relaxed atmosphere, while maintaining professionalism.
Another one of my key strengths lies in assisting customers with menu decisions, offering thoughtful recommendations. Whether they’re exploring the menu for the first time or looking for the perfect pairing, I make it a priority to guide them confidently, ensuring they feel comfortable with their choices. My ability to listen attentively and adapt to each guest's needs has consistently resulted in a high level of satisfaction.
Once the order has been made, I then deliver the food promptly and professionally, always checking to ensure everything meets the customer’s expectations. This extra step, making sure the customer is satisfied, helps to enhance their overall dining experience.
