- Carrying out routine checks and maintenance/service on heavy mobile machinery – Dump trucks, Underground and Surface loaders, Manitou’s and Jumbo drill rigs.
- Changed out hydraulic hoses, slides on booms, greasing, replacing equipment on machinery, following procedures and reporting faults and fixing faults.
- Washing machinery, cleaning up the workshop and assisting tradesmen with any tasks that needed assistance.
- Ending early as family has moved away and I no longer have support or a way to afford living in Mt Isa.
