  • Notify circulating nurse if you need any additional instruments as clear as possible
  • Undertake count of sponges and instruments with circulating nurse and inform the surgeon of count result
  • Clears away instrument and equipment
  • After operation assists in dressings
  • Removes and disposes of drapes
  • Prepares patient for recovery
