Bulla Spoil Facility-BSF-HI-Quality-ADE Consulting
Hi-Quality Group’s Bulla Spoil Processing Facility, located at 570 Sunbury Road Bulla, is a purpose-built facility designed to accept, treat and safely dispose of material excavated by the tunnel boring machines on the West Gate Tunnel Project. In this project I was involved in both Level 1 and Level 2 Geotechnical Investigation and Testing Authority (GITA). I was also involved communicating with contractors and subcontractors and made sure the work was carried out as per Australian Standard (AS2870, AS1728). In addition to these, I also carried out different insitu testing such as borehole logging, vane shear testing, light weight deflectometer (LWD) and Dynamic Cone Penetration test (DCP).
West Gate Tunnel Project- Construction Sciences
In this project I was involved in Level 1 Geotechnical Investigation and Testing Authority (GITA). I was also involved working with Tier 1 contractors (John Holland, CPB contractors) and subcontractors and made sure the work was carried out as per Australian Standard (AS2870, AS1728). In addition to these, I also carried out different insitu testing such as vane shear testing, light weight deflectometer (LWD) and Dynamic Cone Penetration test (DCP). Besides this, one of my main responsibilities were to collect and prepare soil samples for lab testing.
Construction of warehouses (Geebung) – Menard Group
In this $2 million dollar project, the objective was to build 3 warehouses along with sprinkler tank at 67 Brickyard Road, Geebung QLD. Controlled Modulus Column (CMC) and predrilling were carried out at different locations. My role as a site engineer was to communicate effectively with the site supervisor along with other contacted staff and carried out the work as per planned. I was also responsible for carrying out static load tests and calibration tests across different testing areas.
Trenching and Installation of MV, Fiber and Optics Cable- All Energy Cooperation
In this $20 million dollar project, the objective is trenching and installing of MV, optics and fiber cables for Wind farm at Diamondy Creek Road. Trenching and Installation of cables are carrying out as per Australian standards. My roles as a site engineer are surveying, QA/QC, communicate effectively with the site supervisor along with other contacted staff and carried out the work as per planned.
