- Coordinated & improvised solutions with Engine shop, Base maintenance Operational planning, Power plant Repairs, MRO's to minimize turnaround time for engines during AOG situations.
- Reviewed OEM workscope whilst referring to the workshop planning guide and approved repair specification on the basis of which internal workscope was prepared for Engine shop to enable despatch of the Engines to MRO facility.
- Reviewed completed workpackage returning from MRO facility and ensure all compliances are recorded accurately in the MIS.
- Reviewed the Form 1 and shop finding reports for components arriving at Emirates stores for inspection, to validate if all work requested have been carried out and if the component can be deemed airworthy to be credited into Emirates inventory.
- Led, Cross trained and developed my team of 19 personnel in the Engine Compliance off wing and the Component compliance off wing division of Maintenance Programs & Configuration section.
- Developed a Learning and Lessons Learned register and chaired weekly development sessions with the team to drive a continuous learning and improvement culture within the team.

- Prepared the aircraft maintenance Program for the A380, A319 & B777 fleet and ensuring that Emirates fleet meets the industry regulations and standards.
- Coordinated with Reliability team to make necessary adjustments to the maintenance program based on the operational performance of components and the fleet but within the regulatory framework.
- Responded to AOG variation requests raised by Maintenance Control Centre team and reviewed possibility of deferring tasks within the limits provided on the Aircraft maintenance program.
- Participated in the Industry Steering Committee meetings & Maintenance Working Group meetings with the manufacturer, vendors, regulatory bodies and other operators.
- Represent Maintenance programs team during internal audits from QA and external audits from GCAA, EASA & IATA
- Developed solutions with Airbus for deferral of scheduled maintenance tasks during Covid 19 pandemic and implemented significant changes to the A380 maintenance program. Subsequently, prepared Safety Risk Assessments for justification of the change to regulatory authority (GCAA) and facilitated the return of the aircraft from parking/storage depending on operational requirement which resulted in significant financial savings to the organization.
- Led & implemented the A380 Maintenance Program Optimization project that resulted in financial savings for the organization by moving the maintenance check intervals from 2 years to 3 years.
- Reviewed instructions for continued airworthiness (ICA) and implemented it accordingly in the section 6 of the Emirates Maintenance program.
- Implemented a Digital Engineering work card solution across the organization by collaborating with managers across sections and developers to roll out a solution that upgrades the performance and improved the efficiencies of the teams using the product. Recognized by Emirates for my driving role in the project.
