Hi, my name is Della Martin. I am 19 years of age and completed year 12 at Kingston Community School late last year. I am applying for this job as I have had a lifelong interest in Agriculture. I have completed the subject, Agriculture, since year 8 at Kingston Community school, and started studying the subject child studies and my Certificate 3 at the start of year 10. I have always grown up on a farm and worked on weekends and holidays, usually alongside my dad who is a farm manager on a 17,000-acre sheep and cattle property . In my spare time/ holidays I work on the property to make extra money and to keep moving. My duties have included mustering livestock on 4-wheel motorbike and also in Utes. My duties have also included sheep drenching, vaccinating, backlining, calf weaning, drafting and some fencing duties. My previous jobs have included working shift work and long hours, neither of which bother me at all. I enjoy learning new things and carrying them out to the best of my ability.
