Working at a four start hotel as a night manager, along with all the task completions during the night I am also responsible for maintaining building security via the provision of onsite presence, execution of routine patrols and security checks.

Key Responsibilities

• As I work alone the whole night and no security guard works with me I have to monitor and take actions when get guests complaints and an incident happens during my shift.
• Regularly monitored security cameras and identified potential security threats.

Utilized a proficient computer skills to complete reports and log daily activity

• Responding to client telephone calls and emails in addition to two-way radio Communication
• •Allowing entry only for authorised vendors, contractors and visitors through proper security checks and the close monitoring of CCTV:
• Detecting suspicious activities, identifying criminal acts and rule infractions, and enforcing rules and regulations
• Assessing the security needs of emergency situations and acting accordingly whilst maintaining confidentially

Evaluating alarms, locks and fire exits, as well as fire-fighting equipment,

building equipment and controls

• Protecting the property from theft, vandalism and accidental damage.

I assist security guards in maintaining building security at my busy hotel in Brisbane City by being present on site, doing regular patrols, and providing security on weekends when we receive a lot of complaints and difficult-to-handle guests specially on weekends.

Key Responsibilities as a Night audit

• Completed night audit for guest ledgers to close bank and cash registers, reconciling issues quickly, and marking discrepancies.
• Oversaw night auditing of daily room occupancy and hotel revenue.
• Controlled cash and credit card payment transactions at front desk to successfully reduce errors.
• Kept accounts in balance and ran daily reports to verify totals.
