While in the Royal Australian Navy, I performed in numerous different roles such as:
Marine technician - The operation and maintain of all the ships various engineering systems, watchkeeping of all running machinery. Creation and entry of JSA's, Risk assessments, and all of ships departments maintenance schedules and plans.
Damage Control technician - Maintained all ships but not limited to fire fighting, fire suppression, gas monitoring and all Damage Control Equipment
Ships Boat Maintainer - Maintained and operated all the auxiliary ships boats in accordance with corrective and planned maintenance procedures.
Boarding Party Officer - Maintain order while liaising with all the different personnel on the vessels while still trying to achieving positive outcomes for both parties
Engineering Boarding Party Officer - During Boarding operations evaluate ships engineering machinery to evaluate the vessels sea worthiness and to correct and maintain if required.
Engineer Ready Use Store - Manage the Departments weekly, monthly and yearly Budgets whilst ordering materials and relevant stores to maintain a functioning engineering department while still been able to maintain full capabilities.
