In summary, I have a strong foothold in experience and skill in the areas of customer service, register use, shop maintenance, hospitality skills, communication, and work ethic. I have a highly motivated and eager capacity for learning and then applying those skills and information to the best of my ability to the best me possible. I am reliable and can show that I have a strong interest in the workplace and business status.
From May 1st to September 13th, 2024, I worked at a privately owned BP truckie stop. Here I worked as a retail assistant, serving many customers throughout the day for shop items. Fuel Cigarettes meal orders coffee bain marie food selling people ice bags swapping propane containers and overseeing the renting of car trailers.
I have experience in writing down meals and letting the chef/cook be acknowledged, as well as preparing and serving different types of coffee from a barista machine. I also spent much of my time doing and drying dishes sweeping and mopping the floors, wiping down tables, and cleaned the bain marie as well as restocking and facing the entire drinks fridge and other shelf shop items,.
In my experience working there, I was continuously interacting with customers and coworkers to coordinate and sustain the work flow, and I built valid communicative skills as well as strategic initiative, allowing me to exist as a constructive force in the workplace, demonstrating the validity and conclusive effect derived from my effort and energy categorised to the environment and interaction space in the work place between employees, customers, and the business.
This initiative was built on the attitude and ability for learning and acquiring not only the necessary information for sufficient management or work roles and responsibilities but also the information of the ins and outs that are more universally attuned to each respective work place and help build a personal connection invoking one's own working rhythm and style to define themselves as an employee to the environment, such as putting in extra effort in the little details for the benefits they provide. I am willing to intake and process all beneficial information that constructs me as an employee.
The BP was 24/7. I was most often working 1-9 pm, 5 days a week but that could change, and I was then and am willing now to work any time of day any day of the week, as well as public holidays, and over time.
I am reliable.
i believe my time at the BP all though relatively short provided useful experience in both customer service and hospitality. I am well versed in and enjoy each individual interaction with a customer and hope to provide them with an experience they can tie back to the business or brand and relate to with fondness and appreciation for our services and goods and i believe my skills are capable in the up keep and maintenance in the building it self that is the core of the way in which we provide services such as dishwashing flor cleaning and product shelf stacking.
My reason for leaving at the time was due to personal mental health reasons, which have been settled now.
My time working with Troy Perrit involved the creation and installation of cabinets throughout the clientele houses in Adelaide,. I was about to undergo an apprenticeship with Troy with the assistance of his one other colleague. how ever employment there was short lived due to the availability of my self being able to work with him essentially there was not enough work at the time to that validated my employment and use of skills how ever in the short time i was there i was able to apply myself as well as make use of past skills that i had learnt in a cert 2 in building and construction course earlier that year
I was able to demonstrate the capacity to be hands-on with creative materials and have the psychically capacity to manage heavy work loads. I was able to proficiently make use of the required necessary tools involved in the construction type environment.
Due to the minimal pool of staff I was working with, it allowed me to develop my communicative skills on a personal level, ensuring mutual and constructive growth in our work together.
My time with the Barton Buckle acting agency involves my time on many film sets enlisted as an extra to be a supporting character filmed in the backgrounds of many film or TV productions. These work days required waking up very early and potentially travelling long distances to sets.
The filming of scenes could take up full days, sometimes up to 16 hours at a time, while in this process you will be asked constantly by the director or other staff to move around, adjust position, or change whatever action one is enacting
The job requires a lot of patience, discipline, and the ability to be able to listen and apply whatever information is instructed to you, and through your cooperation, being able to make the production run smoothly by in part your effort. In my time there, I landed a reasonable amount of jobs due to me being known as easy to work with and constructive, and at one point, through multiple auditions of my own, I was able to land a leading role in a pharmaceutical advertisement.
Through the many gigs and time spent on sets, I have developed and shown reliability and smoothness to work with.
I was also around many varying, unique individuals when doing filming throughout the day. I was easily able to make casual friends with people surrounding the work space, which was a lighter, relaxed atmosphere while working in large groups of people all facing directions.
I left the organisation at the time due to moving houses but i am currently reapplying enlistment.
My time at IGA in Camperdown was short lived due to me moving houses shortly after employment. How ever, my time serves as an example, as my role in a supermarket supports the model of my ability to serve customers using a register face and stake shelves. There is not much that I learned there that wasn't vastly improved on my time at the BP.
my skill that are able aid in terms of my employment are largely derived from past employment such cashier register use forwarding old stock facing it and the re lapping new stock and cleaning ability as well as well versed physical skill
my broader mental thinking skills allow me to be articulate on top of my motivation to learn once i am sure that i understand the required necessary and additional beneficial factors revolving my work ethic and ability to enact working actions i can critically think about my self and what areas i can improve and what parts i am doing well why i am doing them well and then how to use information to help form a broader more efficient version of my self
this means i can be adaptable once i start feeling more comfortably in the environment i have more room then other people target a point of point of constructive work ethic and then prioritise higher energy into it and proceed ot excel with growing entitative
i can highlight the character of my self my cow workers the business employer and the business it self and keep in mind the rotating elements that create the conditions we work in the external perspective towards the customers on the goods and serves we have provided them with the social pool between the employees and he customers and how all of this is effecting the business and the business owner
