Responsible to the Materials Engineer for laboratory and field testing for Major Fiji Road Upgrading Projects undertaken by overseas based companies. The main areas of work activity undertaken during the time with Roughton International involved investigations during design and quality control during construction. Specific tasks have involved assessment of bulk earthworks materials, stabilization of earthworks and pavement materials, assessment of aggregate for sealing and concrete works and assessment of concrete.

• Responsible to the Engineer’s Representative for general supervision of road and bridge construction. Duties also included, field and laboratory testing of Bulk Earthworks materials, pavement materials and assessment of aggregates for sealing and concrete.
• Engaged in rehabilitation project from Faleolo International Airport to Apia and construction of Fagalii Box Culvert and Falefa Bridge.
• Proven ability to learn quickly and adapt to new situations.
