• Works in consultation with other health professionals and members of health teams, and co-ordinates the care of patients.

• Control of stock and equipment in accordance with medicinal policy.

• Delivers comprehensive and quality patient care to meet the health needs of patient

• Peer group mentoring for newly appointed nursing staff.

• Counsel and educate patients and their families on treatment plans.

• Ensure the patient records and registers meet legal requirements.

• Perform physical examination and diagnosis tests.

• Identify sudden or subtle changes in a patient’s medical condition.
