• Supported the reporting requirement of the Swinburne Information Hub (SIH), a data warehouse developed using AWS Redshift
• As part of this key project, I was involved in the following:

1) Data Catalog

• Used Microsoft Excel for documenting the Student One (core system) data dictionary
• This also includes identifying the subject area, data owners
• Identify and tag PII data at the table and column level
• Use Python to ingest the data into the SIH data catalog schema
• Work with the Business Insights team to create a PowerBI dashboard to visualize the same
• Provided a demo to the internal team on the benefits of data catalog and how it can help leverage data governance

2) APM Analysis

• Used SQL queries to identify students at risk of attrition from data stored in the data warehouse (Redshift) so the Swinburne team could reach out and offer assistance
• Leveraged the same data on at-risk students for future data modeling efforts

3) Education and Quality Services Project

• EQS team looks after various survey data and uses this to measure student satisfaction across university
• The survey consists of both Qualitative and Quantitative measures
• Support Data ingestion of Student Experience Survey (SES), Government outcome survey (GOS) and Course Evaluation Survey (CES) survey data into the data warehouse
• This was challenging as the file format changes every year and required a robust logic to handle this change
• Used S3 bucket to store the files in the cloud and used AWS Glue to convert the xlsx file to parquet format
• Use Matillion to Create ETL for populating all surveys into a single Dimensional Model
• Testing and Validating the source data is ingested correctly into the Dimensional Model
• Workshop with stakeholders walking them on the use of Dimensional Model for self service reporting
• Setup Orchestration job to schedule and run the ETL

1) A strong foundation in programming languages like C#, JavaScript, and HTML/CSS.

2) Developed a SharePoint Site for the ePMO(Finance) Department.

3) Have knowledge of SharePoint Framework (SPFx).

4) Leveraged Advanced Technologies like Microsoft cloud applications like SharePoint Online and Office 365.

5) Knowledge of SharePoint site theming for customizing the look and feel of SharePoint sites.
