Working as an ally to young people in Police custody who are unable to be supported by a parent or guardian. This role ensures the young person has their rights respected, is treated fairly and provides an opportunity to create referrals for the young person to prevent reoffending.

• Provide comprehensive secondary triage of low to medium acuity patients over the telephone to determine if emergency ambulance attendance is required.
• Referring patients to relevant and appropriate services to satisfy clinical need.
