• Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the wetsuit service centre
• Supervise, manage and mentor two staff members
• Provide training and induction for new staff
• Receive wetsuits from the customer and enter all required information into the internal computer system
• Carry out all pre-work, including removal of zips and cutting out new panels
• Oversee quality control of all workmanship undertaken within the service centre
• Ensure all work is completed within a 48-hour timeframe
• Package and post items for delivery back to the customer via Australia Post
• Email quotes directly to customers
• Take payments for wetsuit repairs via credit card
• Liaise with customers daily via phone, email and face to face (retail stores and private customers)
• Control stock inventory to ensure the availability of spare parts
• Contribute to the research and development of new wetsuits
• Identify any quality control issues from overseas manufacturers and report these to management
• Travelled to America for ten days in 2011 to advise on workplace changes that were to be adopted by their service centre
• Travelled to New Zealand for seven days in 2018 to source a suitable factory to carry out repairs.
