Studio sound environment, knowledge on recording techniques, acoustics, mixing, patching, use of EQs, ProTools, Ableton, Reaper, compressors and others
Live sound environment knowledge, skills and techniques when setting up gear on stage like for example, microphones, cables, speakers, setup of front house and monitor mixing console, know the necessary distance of audio gear to have a successful setup.
Collaboration with the Institution's Open Days/presentations. Music students made a performance and audio team would set up the audio gear, like speakers, microphones, drums, FOH and monitor consoles, cables, drums, stands and lighting
Strong communication with bands/artists to receive an input list, analyze it with the audio team and have a successful stage setup
Fundamentals in lighting, with a basic concept of how it works learning the importance of light on stage, how to set it up for stage.
Completion of an audio internship with audio engineers and technicians In a sound company in El Salvador called SIMA Sonidos, El Salvador. SIMA had a rehearsal, recording studio and also provided live sound service to bands, events, venues, church bands and more.
Knowledge and techniques obtained during Internship: The communication that is required, stage setup, how the FOH and Monitor Consoles work, the distance that they should be from stage types of microphones, speakers, cables, and different effects that are provided to the artists.
