· Provide quality care to residents including daily monitoring, recording, and evaluating medical conditions of up to 40 residents per day.

· Conducting health assessments and creating care plans tailored to residents’ needs.

· Leading and supporting a team of Enrolled Nurse and Care Assistants.

· Delegating tasks and ensuring compliance with care standards.

· Liaising with residents’ families, doctors, and allied health professionals.

· Ensuring adherence to aged care standards and regulations and participating in audits and quality improvement initiatives.

· Administering medications within scope of practice.

· Providing wound care, mobility support, and other nursing interventions.

· Monitoring residents’ vital signs and reporting changes in their condition to RN’s or doctors.

· Provide adjunct care for the patient, including ice packs, non-sterile dressings, and therapeutic baths

· Assisting in conducting health assessments and implementing care plans created by RNs.

· Adhere to professional standards, follow policies and procedures, and abide by federal, state, and local requirements, as well as Joint Commission standards.
