Account Manager - Fortescue Metals Group, BHP & Roy Hill

• Safely and effectively managed a diverse workforce of 280 employees across several mining operations.
• Proactively visited customer mine sites on a regular basis, promoting the Programmed Difference and addressing issues as they arise.
• Monitored operational activities and key performance indicators to ensure internal controls are in place and the acceptable standard of delivery of on-site employees meets or exceeds customer needs.

Major Account Manager / Business Development Manager – Pilbara

• Responsible for managing the strategic sales for large national customers with a footprint and presence in the Pilbara, FY21 $11.6m, Variance up ^ 18.2% year on year
• Created and managed a large portfolio of multi-disciplinary businesses in Newman, Karratha and Port Hedland. Generating a positive sales increase and growing share of wallet for the region, forecasted for a 1.5% growth in sales on FY21.
• Successfully targeted new business opportunities in the Pilbara with a large focus on Major Projects. Through this I engaged and secured over $500k worth of business with major contractors who previously spent $0.
• Managed a major account of a very large customer with over 1400 site locations nationally, YTD $724k at 41%GP.

Business Development Manager – Construction, Perth Metro & Pilbara

• Tasked to engage in high level discussions with large major projects in both Perth Metro and the Pilbara with a Focus on Project's Circa $50m.
• Worked closely with suppliers and external representatives from other businesses to engage key stakeholders during the pre-tender phases of major projects.
• Through engaging key stakeholders, I was included in large tenders and won multiple mobilisation contracts, bringing in a combined total of $1.2m to the businesses bottom line over four quarters.
• Completed hand overs of 3 major customer's that I hunted, built relationships with, secured transactional history and fixed agreements for on-going business.
• My most notable challenge was procuring an internationally sourced key product for an international customer working on a major project in Perth. The transaction was Ad Hoc and required international co-ordination to source and successfully air freight the goods within a slim time frame.
