Responsibilities

  • Planning and preparing test requirements and test cases, followed by internal reviews and external review, to establish confidence in test coverage
  • Creating an Execution Plan detailing the percentage of execution to reach throughout the Build Drop cycle
  • Strategically developing a daily plan considering the different time zones of the testers to ensure the maximum number of testers across all projects are able to execute at all times
  • Reviewing and authorising test scripts before and after execution in ALM
  • Providing support for Integrated Core Processing (ICP) client refreshes, batch runs and mid-range system date changes using Mainframe server
  • Building relationships across many programs within EST to stay connected with external stakeholders
  • Coordinating shakedowns of test environments following deployment of new code to ensure project deliverables are met in line with established timelines
  • Ensuring that any defects, environmental issues and project risks are identified and presented to stakeholders such as Build, Design and Project Management
  • Creating Test Closure Memos for management. These documents detail what was tested, the results of the testing and at the completion
  • Managing team members and their day to day tasks and their performances through compass discussions
