As a client manager, Diwas manages a broad portfolio of 16 clients including Federal Department of Health and Aged Care and its agencies, IP Australia, Australian Electoral Commission (AEC), Organ and Tissue Authority (OTA), Clean Energy Regulator (CER), Australian Institute of Health and Welfare (AIHW) to name a few.


He is also responsible for sales to the portfolio through direct engagement selling professional services, managed services and technology stack (hardware and software).

He has also built strong relationship with technology partners including CISCO, Oracle, Google Cloud, Spectralink, Imprivata, Splunk, Palo Alto Networks to name a few selling their product offering to solve client problems through technology solutions.


Key achievements:

  • Achieved 100% + of annual Gross Profit target in both FY22 and FY23, exceeding quota targets each year.
  • Multiple quarters of achieving highest sales in revenue and GP amongst the Canberra team looking after the federal accounts.
  • FY23 - won new logo clients: AIHW, Department of Health, OTA in the financial year.

  • Delivered a Security Clearance Management System to Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade managing a team of 15 staff enabling workload management, notifications, dashboards, smart forms integration, and documents management.
  • Oversaw the system development and delivery going fully live in 2021, aiming at managing 1,300 clearances and 55,000 service contacts to the Department per annum.
  • Continuously engaged with C-Suite stakeholders to provide demo, assess feedback to change requests and delivered outcome to client expectation, including client training to use the new system.

  • Diwas led the engagement with NSW Police defining the requirements and designing functional solutions in the Noggins 2.0 system for thier critical event management requirements.

Department of Defence – Navy Career Management Tool

  • Diwas led the engageement to define the Business Requirements, Functional Requirements and Non-Functional requirements to the Navy’s ambitious Career Management Tool that would provide its staff an overview of trainings and experiences to manage their career.

Services Australia - RDM 2.0 Readiness Assessment

  • Diwas led the three-day accelerated engagement piece to assess project readiness to transition to BAU and assess solution adoption readiness.
  • He developed and delivered a report through desktop research and stakeholder interviews and assessed project maturity against industry standard framework identifying gaps, recommendations and immediate next step actions.

Department of Education, Skills and Employment – Transforming the Collection of Student Information

  • Diwas led the design, development and implementation of a transition model of Australian education sector to the new API based reporting solution in collaboration with Services Australia and Department of Education’s SMEs.

Department of Health – National Cancer Screening Program

  • Diwas represented the Commonwealth to 6 states and two territories jurisdictions, and Primary Health Network to provide standard messaging and adoption support to the changed cervical cancer screening test in line with recommendations provided by the Medical Services Advisory Committee.

IP Australia – User Experience Discovery

  • Diwas led a team of five to assess current state user journey at the time of assessment and inform management where this journey was fragmented at an experience layer.
  • Presented final report with insights to IP Australia executives into their current state customer experience, and recommendations with suggested set of activities and technology enablement projects to elevate external user sentiments when transacting with IP Australia.

Department of Health – Aged Care Transition Readiness Assessment

  • Diwas led point-in-time readiness assessment to assess the emergent challenges and issues in transitioning Aged Care IT system from Department of Social Services to Department of Health.
  • Presented final report to executives at DSS and DOH providing an independent advice on the feasibility of achieving a successful transition of Aged Care IT system from DSS to DOH.

Department of Human Services - Health Modernisation IT Strategy

  • Diwas evaluated technologies at critical and high risk of failure in the aging Australian Health infrastructure to deliver a stable, agile and modern IT solution.
  • He developed a future state IT landscape and a five-year technology transformation roadmap to address the technology pain points identified during the discovery phase.

  • Diwas led a team onshore and offshore (Bangalore, India) to manage Software Vendor Test environment conducting an extensive a notice of Connection testing and issuing a compliance certificate to independent software vendors who passed the third-party connectivity criteria into the My Health Record system.
  • He designed wireframes for implementing conceptual frameworks for My Health Record’s Consumer, Provider and Administer Portals.
  • He led functionality testing for UAT and SIT for clients and support during deployment activities.
