• Develop process improvements to utilize equipment and materials to maximize production effectively
• Develop operational strategies to achieve production objectives.
• Develop best practices to improve production capacity, quality, and reliability.
• Perform engineering analysis to reduce downtime and outages.
• Plan and coordinate production engineering processes to produce high-quality products.
• Develop operating instructions and equipment specifications for production activities.
Main Tasks
• Operating the advanced steel plate processing plant which includes Profile cutting system, Plasma cutting/CNC, Oxy cutting system, Press Machine.
• Inspecting, maintaining automated machinery (Mechatronics, CNC, PCS technology and reporting any faults. Applying the NC programs to machines and adjusting the machine parameters with all aspects of engineering techniques.
• Supervise and participate in the manufacturing processes, ensuring quality work is done in a safe, efficient manner.
• Evaluate current production activities and make recommendations for improvements.
• Identify unsafe operations and practices and report to management immediately.
• Provide engineering support for production and maintenance activities to ensure maximum production.
• Stay current with product specifications, engineering technology, and production processes.
• Inspect machinery to ensure everything is up to the specified code.
• Provide training and guidance to team members to accomplish production goals
• Investigate problems, analyze root causes, and derive resolutions.
