I began working in media while studying Screen Practice and Production, where I gained the foundational skills of media encoding, scriptwriting, and production. These skills opened the door to me becoming a News Exchange Operator at Sky News in November 2022, where I honed my media ingestion and encoding ability. The reliability and proficiency I demonstrated in this role helped me when applying to become a News Producer, where I sharpened my scriptwriting and editing skills. I produce industry quality breaking news scripts vision under intense live television time pressure, alongside managing reporters in the field, producing packages, and writing voice overs. This skillset makes me very suited for all production roles, from the news, to set management. I additionally work on small-scale productions for friends of mine, doing an assortment of different roles like producing, gaffing, sound recording, and editing.

2 Years 9 Months- Script breaking news segments with limited vision and information in as little as 5 minutes.
- Produce news packages, write voice overs with overlay, and produce accurate news graphics.
- Make reporter ‘look-lives’ (where a reporter files two, or sometimes three, pieces to camera with a script read in between over some overlay-vision) in as little as 10 minutes.
- Manage field reporter’s intros, vision, graphics, and grabs for live crosses.
- Oversee live studio operations as a line producer – ensuring all all items in the bulletin will play out correctly.
- Listen to live press conferences and either transcribe it for field reporters or create grabs and slabs for quick turnaround.
- Research and investigate journalistic leads to ensure accuracy and depth.
- Utilise advanced editing tools to enhance audio and video production.
- Performed voice translations to ensure clear communication across languages. and ensure the translation matches the original language in the grab.
