Responsible for managing the metrology equipment integration, automation, and qualification in the newest state-of-the-art 300 mm silicon wafer manufacturing fab in Singapore.

Leadership Excellence:

• Directing multiple teams of metrology engineers and suppliers to ensure seamless alignment, coordination, and cooperation to achieve successful qualification of metrology equipment.

Process Expertise:

• Overseeing all aspects of metrology equipment qualification, from initial tool start-up to handover, including comprehensive evaluation and testing, fab and IT integration, automation, documentation, and final handover to operations.
• Managing technology process transfer, qualification plans, and schedules to ensure timely and successful project execution.
• Conducting thorough evaluation and documentation of results to maintain high standards of quality and performance.

Strategic Planning:

• Defining comprehensive project plans, objectives, budgets, staffing, milestones, priorities, work packages, timelines, and resources.
• Developing and implementing strategic roadmaps to ensure project goals are met within specified timeframes and budgets.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Interacting with a diverse array of internal and external stakeholders across organizations, fostering unity towards the achievement of common goals.
• Facilitating clear and effective communication channels to ensure all parties are informed and aligned.

Supplier Management:

• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery, and negotiating favourable terms to optimize the supply chain.

Quality Management:

• Implementing Statistical Process Control (SPC), Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA), and Gage Repeatability and Reproducibility (GRR) studies to ensure precision and accuracy in measurements.
• Managing Material Review Board (MRB) processes to handle non-conforming materials and ensure quality standards are met.
• Utilizing Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Quality Function Deployment (QFD) for continuous improvement and risk mitigation.

Advanced Manufacturing Concepts:

• Ensuring compliance with SEMI standards for semiconductor manufacturing.
• Integrating metrology equipment to advanced automation solutions, including Overhead Hoist Transport (OHT), Manufacturing Execution System (MES), and Material Control System (MCS) for enhanced operational efficiency.
