• Overseeing all container unloading and receipting - working closely with contracted unloaders.
• Pallet control - ensuring adequate levels are available at all times - CHEP, Loscam and plain pallets, ordering of new pallets, updating transactions into pallet software i.e. '2IC'. Daily, weekly, monthly reporting on levels and future requirements, de-hiring of damaged pallets, unloading and loading.
• C.o.R. (Chain of Responsibility) - ensuring drivers, contractors and visitors are inducted to site. Maintaining of C.o.R. documentation, soft copies, hard copies, keeping registers up to date and available on request.
• Supervising, training, mentoring all team members.
• Developing Team Leaders to be professional, understanding and confident to deal with any disruptions to flow.
