Core Accountabilities:

  • As a member of the People and Culture leadership team, I role modeled high standards of performance, accountability, collaboration, ethics, and integrity; managing allocated resources, budgets, contributed to business and project planning and reporting; and demonstrated a strong commitment to a positive culture and the development of EPA's people.
  • Actively contributed to the development of a positive and high performing team culture, including by identifying and implementing opportunities to improve teamwork practices.
  • Lead policy and strategic initiatives for EPA related to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion with a focus on gender equity and the prevention of violence against women, including managing the implementation and reporting of EPA's gender equity action plan initiatives and obligations.
  • Provided authoritative advice to internal stakeholders and built capacity of the organisation to be gender equitable, inclusive and prevent violence against women.
  • Developed and project managed two detailed project plans, with clearly defined action steps for achieving specified
    objectives. Managed project risks and issues; ensured project objectives were met and to budget.
  • Represented the EPA positively in engaging with the community and duty holders to build knowledge and awareness of the laws that protect our environment and human health from pollution and waste, and the role of EPA as Victoria's independent environmental regulator.

Key Outcomes & Achievements

  • Designed EPA's DE&I action plan as a key pillar of the newly released People & Culture Roadmap 2023/26.
  • Established four new Employee Led Networks including a DE&I Advisory group.
  • Chaired the Gender Equality Action Plan (GEAP) implementation working group
  • Full member of the People Sub-committee
  • Completed all progress reporting and workforce audits to the Commission for Gender Equality in Public Service.
  • Delivered two strategic projects focused on Diverse & Inclusive workplaces with a 94% completion rate and within a 5% budget variance.
  • Conducted four consecutive annual gender pay gap analysis reports looking at intersectional cohorts most at risk and delivering insights and recommendations for improvement. EPA's gender pay gap reduced 0.4 % during my time.
  • Introduced Sense of Belonging measures of success into quarterly pulse surveys. EPA saw a continuous improvement in scores from 69% to 74%
  • Delivered fundamentals DE&I training to Board, Senior executive and all EPA employees.

  • Partner with the CPCO to develop a Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) annual strategy and tactical plan aligned to the P&S strategy.

  • Contribute to and champion the Employee Value Proposition (EVP) for Redbubble

  • Lead the delivery of the D&I Strategy at Redbubble, including the development and tracking of metrics and indicators of success.

  • An integral leader and business partner on improving Redbubble's 'sense of belonging' score from 72% to 89% as of Nov 2022.
  • Successfully launched and embedded three Affinity Groups (All Gender, LGBTQIA+ and Neurodiversity) with annual engagement and recommendations to the Executive team.
  • Partnered with key stakeholders to improve the gender balance of our engineering team by 5% within one year.
  • For three consecutive years maintained a 30% or greater female identifying gender balance at Board, Executive and Senior Leadership level.
  • An integral member of the kick-off team for Redbubble's ESG strategy and author of 'People Pillar' in the inaugural ESG Report.

Office Community Lead

A recent team restructure required me to take on a more generalist HR role with an opportunity to not only coach our junior office coordinator but consolidate all employee engagement programming. As well as undertake a strategic planning role for our Diversity, Equity and Inclusiveness plans.


My impact leading up to and including the short term in this role has been significant and a natural progression of my work. I am often described as someone who embodies the very spirit of Redbubble and lives our values daily. Within two months we have already seen a spike in employee engagement across all programs and an improved lived experience in regards to office happiness.
