I am a locally educated Mechanical Engineer currently working within the Water Infrastructure Services division at the Toowoomba Regional Council. Working under the direction of the Principal Engineer - Active Assets, my role is to ensure continuity of water and wastewater services. This involves identification and replacement of at-risk, deteriorated or failed assets, with an aim to increase mean asset life between failures.
I have worked within the Toowoomba Regional Council's WIS Active Assets team for 5 years and developed a good working knowledge of and appreciation for Toowoomba Regional Council's vast water and wastewater asset base.
Prior to my employment at Council, I worked as a MLWD / DDX Field Engineer for oil and gas services company, Schlumberger. This dynamic, fast paced and demanding job has allowed me to rapidly develop resource management skills whilst also providing technical challenges and experiences vital to a successful career in engineering.
