Summary

Driven by a commitment to safety and quality, I leveraged my expertise in GMP, HACCP, and EHS practices at Kerry Ingredients to enhance food safety and quality and standards.

My leadership skills, demonstrated as a Team Leader at Food Spectrum, fostered team cohesion and improved problem-solving with my night shift team. I performed the dual role of night shift line leader and Fryma machine operator which impacted my ability to fully perform as a line leader, henceforth demanding my attention at completing my Fryma schedule and managing my team on various machines and keeping with their schedules as well.

I have being very proficient in database management and IT solutions in my previous job of which I significantly contributed to project successes and system enhancements. Due to my past experience and qualifications I feel confident in performing well in the in-house computer system and MS office tasks to an exceptional standard given the appropriate training.

Given my diverse scope of attributes I have developed from the various fields and jobs I have undertaken I believe that I am well suited for the position of Production Lead - Wet. Also my friendly and open nature has made me very approachable to the whole afternoon shift team on wetside.

  • My core job description as an IT Manager was the full development, implementation and enhancement of a database system (FWPAS) roll-out which was going to go live under the EMPLOYMENT OF NON-CITIZENS BILL 2006 which was later passed in parliament. This enabled our division under the Work Permit Trust Fund to fully develop a Database Administration System with a user interface for the issuance of Work Permits and administration of foreigners working in PNG. A fully functioning data management system for monitoring and tracking foreign workers in PNG.
  • As the division IT manager I was to take lead in all project matters relating to the development and implementation of FWPAS. I was tasked with all the logical data collection relationships and the data links, triggers, inputs and outputs. The expectations of data inputs and outputs in relation to government law, regulations and policy requirements and expectations.
  • Managed the overall maintenance and administration of the Foreign Work Permit Application System (FWPS).
  • Liaise with external IT professionals for networking and system performance. Also conducting troubleshooting, security patching, and maintenance where necessary.
  • Oversaw IT department operations and training.
  • Oversaw daily performance of computer systems and immediately responded to data related issues to keep network up and running.
  • I also integrated and launched a QMatic electronic ticking system which was a first of its kind in PNG for customer service.
  • In my capacity as an IT manager I registered a Departmental web site in the hopes of planning and launching a online application system tied to FWPAS ( Unfortunately I resigned to migrate to Australia ).
