I have been working amongst a culturally diverse population of families and individuals since 1994, in New Zealand, Canada, Ireland and in Australia. I moved to Sydney in 2006 to complete my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the University of Sydney, and I have worked as a clinical psychologist in both public and private practices since 2000.
My areas of expertise and interests include working with a wide variety of people ranging from 6- 84 years of age. My therapeutic techniques are flexible, accommodating, and respectful of each client's cultural, ethnic origins, and religious beliefs.
I offer a warm, compassionate and supportive environment to effectively address each client's unique concerns and needs. My area of research in my Masters and Doctorate focused on social isolation, attachment disorders, and relationships within the family of origin and the effects it has on social anxiety, and bullying behaviours. I have an active interest in working with all anxiety behaviours, OCD, eating disorders, trauma, couples therapy, sexual disorders, grief and loss.
