Drashya Chahar

I am an international student currently enrolled in Bachelor of Information Technology at James Cook University, Brisbane Campus. I am on a student visa and have working rights. I am allowed to work 48 hours per fortnight. Since my arrival in Brisbane on 19th July, 2023, I have completed some volunteer work to understand the work culture and local etiquette for easy communication and better customer service. While I love to work in team environment, I am equally confident to manage activities in timely and efficient manner. I am currently living with my extended family in Brisbane and I am available to work during day or night shifts.

I am a passionate soccer player and celebrate team success while setting high standards for personal contribution to the team. I have also worked as a match official in soccer matches for club and school games. I am a highly communicative individual with strong interpersonal skills.

I am keen to work as an retail associate because I have impressive communication skills and I am passionate about providing customers with excellent service. Being a retail associate will offer me with a unique opportunity to sell the customer a product that satisfies their purchasing criteria. This will allow me to approach customers with personal knowledge of the products they want to purchase.

• Awarded as the best goalkeeper in inter school league for 3 consecutive years.
• Took part in the 3rd division of MFA(Mumbai Football Association) with VR Academy(2021) and Black Panthers(2023).
• Represented my school at district level for soccer tournaments.
• Achieved second place in Computer Olympiad for 2 years in a row.
• Achieved third place in district level cricket tournament representing my school.
