Term 1: Urology Medicine

Term 2: Emergency Medicine

• Acquired further exposure as PGY2 in the Emergency.
• Demonstrated more confidence in attending higher category presentations.
• Gathered resuscitation experience by being often Part of a CAT 1 Team.
• Demonstrated a high level of skills to carry out basic skills such as cannula insertion, plastering or minimally invasive suturing independently.
• Acquired experience to carry out complexes procedures under the guidance of a consultant such as- Femoral Nerve Block, Chest tubes, Cardioversion and USG guided cannula.

Term 3 : Cardiology Medicine

• Acquired exposure in the Tasmanian Northern Coronary Care Unit, cardiology ward patient as well as cardioversion and TOE clinic.
• Well versed in recognising cardiology common presentation.
• Also acquired exposure to STEMI presentations and catheterisation lab.

Term 4 : Hospital at night

• Acquired skills to assess deteriorating patients and demonstrated ability to recognise early signs for a MET Call.
• Formed part of the MET Call at night.
• Demonstrated skills in attending calls for difficult or phlebotomy at night.
