Summary

I am Dual Trained Physician who has attained Fellowship from RACP in the field of Internal Medicine and Nephrology. I currently practice Nephrology (70%) and Internal medicine (30%) as a part time consultant at Peel Health Campus and Fiona Stanley Hospital. Apart from my clinical duties, I participate in junior doctor teaching and I am keen advocate of bed side teaching and teaching on the run in both outpatient and inpatient setting. I have gained administration and staff management skills from managing two large private multi-specialty clinics in Perth. I am local examiner for RACP clinical exams and a keen researcher who has completed a number of hospital QI projects. Many of the recommendations have been implemented across SMHS. I have specialist interest in managing AKI, CKD, Resistant Hypertension, electrolyte imbalance and patients on RRT. I have taken up the role of Credentialing chair in Peel Health Campus from 2020 to 2022. I am a sessional academic at Curtin medical university and I participate in medical student teaching and examination process at Curtin. In my current role I am appointed as clinical dean for Curtin medical students at Peel health campus.
