I first met Duncan 2014 when I offered him full time employment at
Marshall Profiling. I was at that point of time employed in an H.R position.
I have subsequently retired from all full-time employment.
At that point in time Duncan had relocated to Hamilton from his home
town of Gisborne. Duncan had explained to me his reasons for relocating was to help with schooling and work opportunities for his growing family.
It also offered him the opportunity to develop his personal interests in
Martial Arts specifically focused to helping young children to focus on
extracurricular activities. I followed this with a lot of interest.
Duncan showed extensive work experience in site labouring, demolition
and truck driving, on this basis he was offered employment on a three
month trial period. Duncan very quickly became noticeable due to his
willingness to work He actively went about his chores in a diligent manner
showing a willingness to please. At the end of his trial period he was very
quickly offered a full time position.
Duncan started his employment with our team on the laser cutting
machine that he adapted well to.
He then showed his willingness to transfer to Dispatch, again Duncan
showed his willingness to succeed when the opportunity presented itself.
we offered him the new role of Dispatch/Driver, this was a critical role as it
was an integral customer service position. He fulfilled this extremely well
and was weld liked and respected by our customers.
Aside from work I find Duncan an interesting person, he has openly
discussed with me his early years in rural Gisborne hunting and fishing
and of course Martial Arts. Duncan Is a person I trust he presents himself
extremely well, is confident, proud, very open and forthright he is
dedicated to his work and very supportive and respectful to his Co-
workers and Management. I would have no reason to doubt or question
his integrity.
I personally value Duncan as a good person, I will have no problem in
recommending Duncan to any future employer, as well I would never
hesitate to work with him in a mentoring role to help him achieve the
goals he would aspire to.

Duncan drove for us as a nighttime Linehaul Driver. Duncan is an excellent worker and has great work ethics and we would not hesitate to employ him again if we had work available.
