  • Civil experience in switch yards and terminal stations, specific sites include; South Morang TS (Zinfra), Rowville TS (Zinfra) , Red Cliffs TS (Zinfra), Portland (Zinfra), Officer (Downer) , West Melbourne TS (TechTest), Cranbourne TS (TechTest), Frankston (United Energy)
  • Have been inducted in all sites listed above and have knowledge of the process and how it looks.
  • Spent extensive time on the M80 (Melbourne Airport Rail) project, working together with the crews to construct different access tracks and crane pads, rolling out geo-fabric to preserve cultural heritage land, spotting excavators while they work under 22kv up to 220kv powerlines.
  • Operating machinery includes; Skid steers, rollers, dump trucks
  • Experience in water treatment facilities, Healesville treatment plant installing security fencing around the premises. Repairing an eroding embankment with rocks at the Melbourne treatment plant in Werribee.
  • Daily pre starts covering what the scope of work would look like for the day and then signing on and understanding the relevant JSA and SWMS
  • Spotting in switchyards for overhead, underground services, earthing grids and other work crews within the designated work areas.
  • Using a variety of different hand and power tools relevant for the task, these include. Welders for steel cages that will be lowered into the ground for footings, demo saws for cutting concrete, using core drills to create entries for conduits.
  • Contributed to the installation of sacrificially anodes that are placed around the footings of powerlines, this work consisted of, organising all necessary equipment and tools to ensure that the work area was high functioning and safe from any hazards. spotting excavators auguring around the structure, making sure that all conduit was cut to the correct length and was laid appropriately.
