Zenghui Li

I am a producer from China currently studying in the Producer Program at the Victorian College of the Arts, University of Melbourne. With four years of production experience, I have been dedicated to facilitating collaborations between the East and West, advocating for Eastern investments in Western productions showcasing Multiculturalism content for distribution in both markets. It is a path filled with challenges and innovation, yet it also represents the historical mission of an Asian individual who considers Australia a second home.

• In August 2019, I served as director and photographer to produce interview films for Miss Zhang Yanling, runner-up of the Melbourne Division of Sing! China.
• In December 2019, acting as director, producer, O2 dance studio owner and AO Crew dance group member, produced a personal biographical documentary Jonathan.
• In February 2020, acting as director and animation producer, I produced the opening animation for Australian Guzheng Academy.
• Acting as director and screenwriter, working with Inch Film team to produce the short film I doubt.
• In June 2021, I acted as director and producer to set up a crew and co-produce the documentary Ancient Chinese Musician-sherry with Australian Guzheng Academy.
• In July 2021, I served as Data Wrangling and Set Safety Control in collaboration with VCA director Harrison Leech to produce the short film Starlings of the Hyperreal. Received accolades for Best Short Film at both the Sydney Science Fiction Film Festival and the Canberra Film Festival.
• In August 2022, served as volunteer in MIFF.
