Working on the new M12 in Sydney for the last 8 months, these were my main duties and responsibilities.

• Assisting in laying the sub-base and base materials (gravel, sand, etc.).
• Operating compacting equipment to achieve proper soil compaction.
• Operating small machinery, like the small dumper, compactors, and rollers.
• Performing routine maintenance on tools and equipment
• Excavating and leveling the ground using machinery or manual tools.
• setting up exclusion zones to maintain a safe working environment

Working on a quarry for 14 months in Darwin, these were my main duties and responsibilities.

• Servicing machinery every morning by operating a service truck to grease, fuel, and check oil levels of all the heavy machinery in the quarry.
• Operation of heavy machinery, such as a 50-ton dump truck, moxy, water cart, 30-ton evacuator, and crushers.
• Communicated effectively with other members of the team to coordinate activities in a safe and effective manner, by always using the radio.
• Took big loads of material to the crushing plant using the dumper and moxy for the excavator to feed it through.
• Processed raw material is running through the crusher using the excavator.
• Keeping the dust down by driving the water cart around the quarry at certain points every day.
• Worked effectively in team environments to make the workplace more productive.
• general tidy up of workshop at end of the day and washing of machines with power washer.

• Helping to build, assemble, and install timber, steel, or prefabricated formwork systems.
• Measuring, cutting, and fitting formwork panels according to specifications.
• Ensuring formwork is level, plumb, and properly aligned.
• Dismantling formwork once the concrete has cured.
• Cleaning and preparing reusable formwork materials for the next use.
• Safely storing materials to avoid damage or loss.
• Using basic hand and power tools, such as hammers, drills, saws, and levels.
