I played volleyball competitively for one year in 2022, where I played for the Endeavour Club in the Under 18's, Division 1 Team. I also represented my school in the Senior Boys Volleyball Team for Marist Catholic College Penshurst in late 2022, where we finished in first place within our division. The nature of the volleyball sport, solely relies on the quality of teamwork that is being displayed and this will determine if the team has high chemistry in order to play and synergise well with teammates. Over the course of one year of playing both competitively in a club and representing the school, I have learnt many valuable skills such as communication, leadership and volleyball skills which have helped me journey towards my success during my career but also allow me to relay these skills in team-working scenarios and especially when communicating with other colleagues.
