- Company Overview: This was an ecommerce site started from nothing on a WordPress platform. Assisted with the development of the site using off site software engineers. Ensuring the upload of data was highly accurate and acquired this data from our contact lens suppliers. Checking spreadsheets to ensure each product type in the backend of the system matched the front end that we were selling to the customer.
- I oversaw daily operations in an optometrist store. My daily duties included data entry for orders, Health funds claims, Prescription entry, managing staff and delegating tasks, finance, stock control, booking customers in clinic, discussing customers options for spectacle wear.
- Problem Solving and complaints with customers that could not tolerate new glasses prescription.
- Following up with customers after purchase to ensure that they are happy with our service and the product and prescription.
- Recommending alternative lenses/products to customers that could not use certain lens types. This requires a lot of investigative work and asking the customer questions about their history of glasses use to work out why they could not use certain lens type and then for us to recommend a new product based on this knowledge.
- Budgeting costs for purchase of stock throughout the year.
- Using KPIs and dashboards to help with future decision making within the business.
- Exported files to csv files for financial data analysing to work out our gross profit and growth.
