I am currently a full-time journalism student, studying at RMIT. My interests lie in the political and journalistic industries but I have a lot of experience in the fast food industry and in customer service.
In my roles as a team leader at both McDonald's and Salsa’s, we all rely on and thrive off of communication. Whether it’s a busy public holiday or a slow late night, I need to make sure my crew and I can communicate with each other on anything for us to achieve the best that we can for our customers.
Can collaborate and work well with any team member. Becoming a team leader at McDonald's and Salsa's, I've learnt that a good team can get anything done. We can do anything when working well together.
During my time at any job I have held, I would make it my goal to not only work as much as I can but to do my best during all my shifts whether they're short or long shifts. I’ve been taught to stay on top of my tasks and to always be doing something.
In any of the job roles I've held, I made it a personal goal to learn all the different aspects/roles/ skills that they have to offer. During my time at McDonald's, I was able to learn how to be a great kitchen crew member, a fast passed drive through cashier and a customer orientated presenter. I also applied myself to become a Crew Trainer at McDonald's and Team Leader at Salsa's. These roles has helped me to refine my leadership and management skills.
