Eli Burke

I am a 25 year old student, who recently completed a Masters of Physiotherapy at the University of Sydney. I have a strong desire to work in MSK private practice. I have previously completed a Bachelor of Economics at the University of Sydney, where I developed a range of analytical, problem solving and communication skills that would complement my current physiotherapy knowledge, making me a well rounded addition to a private practice team. I am a competitive long distance runner, with a passion for treating lower limb overuse injuries and endurance athletes.

• Shellharbour Hospital (Apr 23), A 5 week acute placement where I managed a full patient case load independently. Majority of conditions were falls, cardiopulmonary and neurological patients. A high level of clinical reasoning and efficiency was required throughout the 5 weeks.
• Westmead Hospital (May 23), A 5 week placement block in MSK outpatient at Westmead hospital where I managed my own case load with conditions such as LBP, THA, TKA, tendinopathies and ACL rehabiliation.
• Blacktown Hospital (Oct 23), A 5 week acute neurological placement where I maintained a case load of acute stroke, GBS, MS and orthopaedic patients. I consistently liaised with the MDT at the hospital and developed good repour with all members of staff.
• Earlwood Physiotherapy (Nov 23), A 5 week MSK placement where I worked with a range of conditions, ranging from post op patients, ankle sprains, tendinopathies and elite soccer players.
