Eliza Hynes

I volunteered regularly this year for my school: Bunbury Catholic College

• I assisted painting furniture for a special event happening in 2025.
• I was involved in Relay For Life which was a fun and moving experience that raises vital funds for Cancer Council WA's research, prevention and support services.
• I also helped out at the Koombana Bay Sailing Club emptying sand bags and putting the sand back on the beach after high tides.

I regularly babysit a little girl every week, playing games and reading books to keep her entertained. I organize and clean up after the activities by picking up toys and tidying the play room. I also prepare snacks and meals for her and attend to all her other needs.

I voiced one of the lead characters called Frizzy the Koala in the animated series Kangaroo Beach for ABC Television. I learnt so much from this experience and was able to follow direction successfully and work as part of a team. I made lots of friends and connections, I felt very supported by the people around me and I had lots of fun participating in the making of educational water safety content for kids.
