As a Local Area Coordinator at St Vincent de Paul (in partnership with the NDIA), I worked with new and seasoned scheme participants and their families and carers. Tailoring individual support plans best suited to their needs. Regular client check-ins, and budget monitoring.
Prior to working as an LAC, I spent seven years with The MaiWel group working in HR, and three of their ADEs (Australian Disability Enterprises) in frontline management, supervisor and support worker roles. As HR Officer for Supported Employees, I was responsible for recruiting staff to meet business requirements, confirm relevant funding was available, ensure individual and group training was undertaken and complete wage assessments.
At TimeSavers I worked in a frontline management role organizing daily workflows for over 40 supported employees with low to high support needs. Meeting quality assurance requirements whilst managing multiple priorities to meet customer and organisational timeframes. I maintained Client Information Management Systems (CIMS), record keeping/reporting and administrative tasks with accuracy and efficiency. Behavioural support was a significant part of the role.
At Ecycling, as Lead Support Worker I provided training and support to employees in a combined workforce of supported and open employment.
As the co-founder and owner of E2E a fashion designer brand and retail business in Sydney for over five years, I managed all aspects of the business operations including: strategic planning, research, design, production and sales.
