ELIZABETH MAGILL

Tighes Hill,NSW

Summary

I have been extremely fortunate to have had a rich and varied employment history in both the early childhood education, construction, and travel industries. Together with varied life experiences I believe I have a lot to offer the children, staff and families of Newcastle Community Preschool in the role of Centre Director.

I am passionate about community based not for profit early childhood education and the City of Newcastle and strongly believe that children need to be at the heart and centre of our beautiful city.

In my recent work with Samaritans Early Learning Centre and Uniting Adamstown Heights Preschool I have proven to be a reliable, conscientious, and professional early childhood teacher in both preschool and long day care settings. Although I have eight years previous experience as a Director, it has been recent experiences in managing our family's construction business and the opportunity to return to the industry as an early childhood teacher that has encouraged me to return to the role of Director.

My personal philosophy and values have always remained strong in the belief that all children deserve the absolute best in care and education. I am confident that I can actively contribute to the goals and vision of Newcastle Community Preschool with my effective communication skills and enthusiasm to always do my best.
