Operations Manager for the Acacia Ridge site, directly reporting to the Brisbane Regional Manager, first started in linehaul operations with Lindsay's and quickly advanced to management. Currently oversee a transport yard with a workforce of 200+ staff daily, including linehaul, local operations, docks, and office teams. Skilled in team leadership, operational efficiency, and ensuring seamless coordination across diverse departments to drive business success.

First year of employment focus was Linehaul operations - involving coordinating routes , scheduling drivers, planning and utilization of truck and trailer equipment across 2 sites. Improved working relationships with the two sites, as well as connecting the operational sector with the workshop function of the business, implementing an overall positive outcome to both areas. I also developed great rapport with linehaul drivers, fostering trust and gaining valuable industry knowledge through strong professional relationships. I also had exposure to other roles within the operation including but not limited to local operations, load planning and rail planning.

  • Nightshift Linehaul Allocator – Main responsibilities include coordinating loading, planning and utilization of freight, drivers and equipment.
  • Load planning for temperature sensitive freight, communicating with other depots, subcontractors, drivers and operational staff to ensure freight is moved on time and within temperature restrictions.
  • Track, trace and monitoring of any high priority loads, breakdowns and reporting to relevant customers, operations teams and workshops.
