Motivated- I was offered the opportunity to teach at 3 different schools in my area. But in order to get students I had to compete with other music teachers in the area. So I had to be organized and proactive, I achieved this by designing and putting an add out in schools newsletters for my services and by organizing with other teachers if I could come in and play for the students to engage them and get them excited about music.

Communication and listening skills- Working in the hospitality industry and with student and their parents has given me the skills stay calm in situations and effectively and professionally communicate with the public.

Team work- My successful involvement with bands show that I am reliable and responsible and a strong team player and enjoy working with others to complete our goals.

Friendly- I like to think that im a approachable friendly character, who is ready to learn and do my best to complete tasks to a high standard.

• I took a course with the organization Youth Leading the World to give me the knowledge and skill to then be able to hold classes in schools with other teachers and educate kids about Environmental issues.
