Hi, my name is Ella, recently emmigrated from the United Kingdom, me and my family live here on a permanent residency visa thanks to my mum's sponsorship through nursing. I am currently not studying but plan to hopefully start at some time towards the end of this year. Due to my current job i am most skilled with helpful Patient Transporter with hands-on experience escorting patients throughout medical facilities. Patient-oriented and compassionate with strong attention to patient safety and care. Excellent bedside manner and outstanding verbal and written communication skills. I also hold my previous skills from my years worth of hospitality experience, which allowed me to grow my level of communication and customer service skills.
As a Theatre Orderly, my job is very hands on, i generally have two roles; Patient Transport is one of my roles which largely consists of transporting patients on their beds safely to different areas of the hospital, e.g. from a ward to "Pre-Op" which is where a patient is held before their operation. My main priorities for the role is to transport patients, assist nurses with simple tasks, transport specimens to the labs, restock necessary equipment such as fluids, fetching parents for paediatric cases and so on. My other role is the 'Theatre' side, in this role i mainly through my shift will enter a theatre after an operation, transfer the patient to another bed and transport the patient to "Post-Op" or Recovery with the Anaesthetic Tech who's main priority is to focus on the patient. We then generally sterilise and prep theatre for the following case, take any medical equipment to the sterilisation area and leave. We also do a deep clean of every theatre each night. In this job i am on a casual contract so i have no permanent hours, so it will not affect my availibility
Leon was a fast-food franchise in the UK that offered allergen friendly food such as gluten and dairy free products. We also offered lost of Vegan and Vegetarian friendly options. For my role i provided a friendly and convenient service to people whom were travelling and commuting on a time schedule and were simply 'passing through' . I accepted payments, took orders, handled orders and food distribution to the customers. I also prepared all beverages, hot and cold. I did get provided with basic barista training. Also got training necessary to handle different allergens and food safety.
Key skills
I worked as a FOH waitress and occasional Bar assistant in the fine dine Mediterranean restaurant which offered a wide range of cuisines from countries such as Turkey, and Romania. We also offered a range of cocktails, spirits, beers and wines. Within the restaurant i had the role of a waitress, and my main responsibilities were to handle friendly customer service, taking the orders of every customer, serving the food and the drinks, and cleaning and preparing each table and section after each customer and at the end of the night. I also handled the payments on cash and card.
