At my current job it is my task to:

- Look after the well-being of up to 80 cats by noticing any physical or behavioural, as well as being able to act quickly in dire situations.

- Greet customers with a smile and put their nerves at ease by engaging in conversation and answering all the questions they have.

- Answering all phone calls, emails, conducting inspections, making and organising bookings.

- Feeding and administrating medication as per vet instructions (including but not limited to insulin, oral medication and cream/eye drops)

- Ensuring the general cleanliness of the cattery as well as taking all possible measures for disease control.

- Handling money transactions.

- Managing a team, working with others and independently.

- Run social media pages including Facebook, Instagram and using Meta Business Suite.

It was my task to operate both the admin/office but also to take care of the cattery. Some of my responsibilities included:

- Welfare checks, noticing any physical or behavioural changes, at times up to 200 cats.

- Feeding cats and administering medication as directed by veterinarians or clients.

- Ensuring the cleanliness of the cattery, and providing clean rooms for the cats.

- Staff management, training new staff as well as delegating task between staff and making sure time is being used efficiently

- Greeting clients with a smile, while delivering outstanding customer service to put their minds at ease.

- Handling all money transactions

- Answering all quires clients may have via phone, email and social media.

- Running social media accounts.

- Working within a team as well as leading, and working independently

When I volunteer I work the cash register and interact with customers. As well as this I aid in the restocking of shelves, sorting of donations, organisation of storage rooms, and correctly dispose of any rubbish.
