I am a young, hardworking and enthusiastic secondary school teacher, with a 2.1. Honors degree in the subjects of Irish and English. Thus far along my teaching journey, and with many professional experiences, I have established a significant passion for encouraging and helping pupils of all abilities in achieving their potential as learners. As a professional educator with communication and interpersonal skills necessary to lead classrooms and execute lesson plans, I aspire to provide instruction and guidance to students of all ages. I create positive classroom environments and effectively manage student behaviours. I am always determined to develop as a teacher and gain further experience from my educational qualification. • Played a lead role in a Secondary School musical which took place when I was in transition year, 2011.

• Camp leader in an Irish College ‘Colaiste Laighean’ for four weeks of summer 2013 and summer 2014 which involved: preparing and teaching activities to children ‘as Gaelige’, helping them in developing new skills and ensuring that the campus where the students were staying was always in perfect condition

• Worked as an intern with the Environmental Programme Agency (EPA) for 12 weeks in the summer of 2016
• Employed as an Irish teacher and sports co-ordinator at Irish camp ‘Colaiste Laighean’ for a month during Summer ’18 and ’19
• Maternity leave cover from November ’18 until May ’19 teaching Irish to two first year classes, a second year ordinary level class, a third year higher level class, and both fifth and sixth year ordinary level groups
• Part time Piano teacher at weekends.
• Worked as a leader in Summer 2022 at Sports camp “SESA”. In this role, I was responsible for a group of kids between the ages of 5-10 and coached them in many different sports, ensuring they were engaged and enjoying themselves while learning new skills
• English teacher at an Italian Language school based in Wexford during the summer 2021 and 2022. Taught Italian students a wide range of topics within the English language curriculum for the month of July. All students were between the ages of 14-18.
