Prepared water samples for analysis by performing complex sample preparation tasks which were sent to both America and Germany.
Drilled travertine layers and collected these samples to be analysed.
Began studying crystal formations within travertine layers under microscope with supervision.

Prepared tables, graphs, and fact sheets to summarize research results.

I was asked by my supervisors, Duncan Keenan-Jones and Glenys McGowan, to continue working with them after completing this six month internship - we are currently working on publishing a paper about the research we have conducted over the last year concerning Roman Aqueducts, specifically the Aqua Augusta.
