I am a dedicated and driven student, currently on a scholarship, achieving destination or above marks. This motivates me to excel in both my studies and extracurricular activities. I have developed strong organisational and communication skills during my involvement in community service, both within school and by assisting my parents.
As an active participant in youth camps, I practice the values of leadership, community, and social responsibility in my everyday life. These experiences have strengthened my teamwork, resilience, and commitment to making a positive impact. I have demonstrated adaptability in diverse environments, excelling in customer service and building strong relationships.
I enhance my younger siblings' learning by tutoring them in Mathematics and English. This includes daily support of the Kumon exercises and school work. I patiently explain new topics and correct their work.
While my parents work, I walk our dog for an hour each day and maintain its diet.
The Duke of Edinburgh's Award is a program where you complete activities such as volunteering, learning new skills, staying active, and going on adventures to push yourself and achieve personal stretch goals. As part of the Program I am currently completing a volunteering course where we bake, sell and then donate the money made to an organisation. In this program I work as a cashier taking orders and counting the money along with baking the goods that are sold. I have also helped another team that uses the same facility to cook for homeless shelters when their operator numbers are down.
I do swimming three times a week to maintain my health and build my stamina, and I also go to the gym. It's a great balance between cardio and strength training. Even though balancing school, swimming, and gym workouts can be tough, it’s worth it because it helps me stay focused in class, feel more energized, and improve both my fitness and overall health.
