Ellis Lambourne

Maritime Logistics Officer in the Royal Australian Navy who has years experience working managing and governing multiple sub-departments, whilst upholding a vessel and/or unit to a high logistical state in order to support the overall mission.

My hobbies include all forms of art especially electronic music, hence why I would love the opportunity to work for a prestigious organisation such as Resident Advisor. My love for the scene developed in 2019 when I was fortunately exposed to certain artists touring Australia at the time. The electronic music scene in Australia is on the rise again and have followed my passion for electronic music all around the world on my travels. I'm devoted to enter an organisation which provides a platform for artists and an audience to express themselves through the form of electronic music.

In addition, my other hobbies includes the study of cultural/social geography. At university I majored in Human Geography within my Bachelor of Arts. I believe that studying the anthropogeography and specific aspects/concepts of sociology is extremely unique and provides an opportunity to learn more about how we as individuals interact with space, time and one another. Understanding the key elements of why humans make certain decisions and behave the way they do is fascinating to me. In a way, it can be applied to the electronic music scene too!
